So funny....

Life is soooo funny at times. Sometimes I just have to sit back and smile through all of the stress and everything that comes along with a hectic and busy lifestyle. I got a new calling recently. When my Bishop called me in and extended the calling to me I started to CRY my eyes out. I'm not sure how I am going to accomplish all that is set before me with school and work (Pacific Rim has asked me to come back and help them out with some assessments and I am SUPER busy at MK Place) as well as do well at magnifying my calling and serving the Lord, but I know that I will go and I will do. I also know that Heavenly Father will prepare a way to accomplish all that is asked of me. Life really is soooo good!
I have had a stuffy and runny nose now for a LONG time!!! Ever since April. I think it might be allergies, even though I have NEVER had allergies in my life! I guess some things change.
I made it back to Lagoon just ONE week after the first time. I went with one of my roomies and some of her friends from school. It was soooo much fun. I was planning on coming back to Poky that same day but was sooo sleepy that I changed my plans. We went to a comedy club in SLC and stayed in the most GHETTO hotel room I have ever seen. We walked away the next morning ALIVE, and NOT SICK from some kind of illness that I thought we might contract. LUCKY!!! It really was soooo much fun and we would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
My softball team has been kicking rear!!! We have won all but one game, which was an INTENSE game that we SHOULD have won. Oh well, It was still tooooo much fun! I have been working in my yard, along with one of my roomie's boyfriend, Clay. For some reason he LIKES working in the yard and comes over to mow, weed and do all kinds of cool stuff to my yard. Bless his heart!!! It is starting to look soooooo good! Now I just need to figure out how to stop my puppy from taking ALL of my shoes out of his dogie door and stringing them throughout the yard. He doesn't chew them, he just runs around the yard with MY shoes in his mouth. I thought having a dogie door would make my life easier because I wouldn't have to let him in and out all of the time, but in all reality it has caused MORE work for me. I have to go around every morning looking for my shoes in the yard, one time he had FOUR pairs of my shoes out there! Silly puppy. He also likes to take the magazines off of the coffee table and SHRED them in the front yard too. Some days it looks like it snowed because of all the shredded paper out there. No worries though, I have a friend who is a pro at dog training coming to my rescue. Thank heavens!
Life is good, I am getting everything done that I have to, summer school is going well and I am HAPPY! Doesn't get much better than this!!!

Update on my goals for this summer...

I made it to Lagoon, yesterday, and I had so much fun!!! As soon as I get some pictures I will post them so you all can see how much fun I have been having... even though I still have summer school (boooooo!), I have made SURE to make time to have FUN!!! I left for Salt Lake City on Friday and met my past roommate and great friend Brooke. We went to Miss Saigon, a play which was a little racy but sooooo good, and stayed the night in the Red Lion hotel. My good friend who served in the same mission as me, Carlos, met us at the hotel. We were gonna go clubbing but it got too late too fast. Probably a good thing cuz I might have been too sleepy to get up the next morning to go to breakfast with Brooke and Carlos... SOOOOO MUCH FUN!!! Then we (Brooke and I) went to LAGOON!!! We met my brother, Ryan, sister-n-law, Jamie, and some of their friends there. We had such a great time!!!! I loved all of the rides, got soaked on the log flume, raced in the go carts and smashed my brother in the bumper cars. I was laughing so hard and could not even breathe at times. I haven't had so much fun in such a long time. We went back to the hotel and the next morning we got up and went to the Living Traditions Cultural celebration. I loved every minute of it! I saw so many people from so many different cultures, their dances and their crafts and talents. It was amazing!!! The guy who was collecting money for the parking lot saw the plates on my car and let me in for free... he said he couldn't charge me because I was from Pocatello... Blessings come in all shapes, sizes and forms... Life is sooo great! As for my other goals I have been playing softball for a couple of weeks now. We have won both of our games and have had a great time!!! I have been cooking more often at home and reading more from the Book of Mormon! I will continue to work on meeting all of my goals... and report on my progress, or lack thereof... we shall see :)
