Bring it on!

Ok... so if you haven't noticed from other posts... my roommates and I tend to get a little aggressive with each other. Well this particular night Amber (who is just a friend), Melissa (a roommate) and I were just chillin on the couch when out of NOWHERE comes Sarah (a roommate) and attacks us! Now I know it may LOOK like Sarah couldn't do much damage but I can assure you that she is one feisty little farm girl. She is WAY tougher than you would expect and packs quite the little punch. Sometimes she does fight dirty though... Pinching. Amber was shocked and had no idea how to react. Melissa and I are used to this and knew exactly what to do in this situation... Here are some play by play pictures just to show you how intense it can get around here...
Just Chillin...

Outta NOWHERE comes Sarah...

Kraziness coming out...

Pinching...

Karate kick...

And look whose still SMILLIN...

Movie Night!

So every Sunday we have people come over to our house for games or a movie. I guess the word has been getting around because ever week the number of people who show up tends to get bigger and bigger... SAWEET! We love to have people over to our house. This past Sunday we watched the movie Clue, kinda old but still really funny! One of my favorite lines is when one of the ladies who had had 5 husbands said, "Men should be like tissues, gentle, strong and disposable." Not that I agree COMPLETELY with her, but it still made me smile! We ended up having about 27 people here. I couldn't get them all in the pictures and some showed up after we had put the camera away. We just threw all of our pillows on the floor and told people to TRY to get comfortable! They were doing each other's hair and I learned how to do a inside out french braid! YAY! It was so much fun and by the end of the movie no one could feel their legs anymore because they were all squished in like sardines! For those who know, our house is pretty small! That's okay! We hope they keep coming back! I got my Karaoke machine all set up with some new CDs so I am SURE there will be some smokin hot Karaoke parties to post here pretty soon!

Timber!

So for the past year the big tree in our front yard has been losing some of it's limbs, and they have been BIG limbs. In fact our old roommate, Jo, had to get her windshield replaced because one of the BIG branches fell during a storm on her car. So our landlords decided to cut down some more of the branches in order to keep that from happening again this year. It was so funny because they got some of the branches down and then their chainsaw quit working. Needless to say we had a JUNGLE in our front yard until they could get it all taken care of. It was so FUNNY! Here are some pictures... welcome to the jungle... we got fun and games!

It looks SO GOOD now and lets so much more light into our house! We LOVE IT!

Bon Fire!

For Suzi and Heidi's birthday we went up to Scout Mountain and had a bon fire! It was soo much fun! We could see the stars so well and it was kinda cold so we needed to cuddle up with the fine young men to keep oursleves warm! YAY! I'm up for a bon fire in the mountains anytime! The only thing missing was starburst candies... I love to roast those little babies... YUMMY! We'll have to make sure we have those next time!

HOT BUNS.........

Josh Turner at the Eastern Idaho State fair, So much fun and a smile to die for!!!!

So a few friends and I went to the JOSH TURNER concert at the Eastern Idaho State fair a couple of weeks ago... It was SO MUCH FUN! We got some GREAT food, went and found our seats in the grand stands and listened to The Wreckers while we wait for the AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL JOSH TURNER... his voice isn't too bad either! ;~) We had such a great time! It was so good to see my GOOD friend Anna from high school. It had been a long time since I had seen her and she was able to make it down from Boise to make it to the concert with us, in fact it was her idea to even go! She is just as sweet, amazing and fun as she has always been! After the concert we went and watched some mechanical bull riding, I tried to get my friends to jump on, but fear overtook them and they declined my offer. Then we went and spent some time in the game/ride area. It was so funny watching Anna and Sarah dodge the carnies... they have a BIG fear of the carnies and wanted to get away from them as soon as possible. It made me smile. Then we ended the night with a good ole strawberries and cream funnel cake. DELISH! Life doesn't get any better than this!

Sara's Goodbye Party!

We decided to throw a "Goodbye Party" for Sara before she moved to Portland for Grad School. It was so much fun! We bought a ton of pizza and pop, invited a ton of people, played the "pass the orange game", played monster ball... which is just a huge version of tennis, salsa danced and finished the night off by going to Bourne Ultimatum, the perfect way to end ANY night! It was a ton of fun and I hope Sara was able to take a ton of great memories as well as all of our love with her as she goes to Portland to get her masters degree. We love and MISS her so MUCH!
