Alofa got a new grill just recently to prepare for this summer and the MANY
BBQs we plan on having with all of our free time as I will be DONE FOREVER with school in exactly 3 WEEKS!!! I almost can't believe it and I am so excited!
Ok, enough about me and back to
Alofa and his grill :) He has the first opportunity to use it this past Sunday as we had my sweet nephew, Cam's birthday party at our house. I had NO IDEA how good my husband was at
BBQing chicken till that day!! It was AMAZING!!! Everyone LOVED the chicken!! I laughed pretty hard though because my husband had no idea how to BBQ hamburgers or hot dogs... He learned quick with the help of my brother, thanks Ry! I am feeling more and more GRATEFUL everyday for the BBQ grill because now my husband cooks his lamb outside on the BBQ and I don't have to smell it. Good thing because I don't particularly enjoy the smell of cooking lamb, in fact it kind of makes me sick at this point.

DELISH steak!! I have been craving meat like CRAZY lately!! My husband is happy to fulfil that request for me as he LOVES meat too!
At the end of March we went down to
SLC to a BBQ with some of
Alofa's friends and family. They had a roasted pig there... I couldn't even touch it, let alone look at it but
Alofa was in HEAVEN as he ate it! Bless his heart!

This is what I came home from work to... Saia and Alofa TEARING up our front yard. Alofa and I had talked about tearing out the old drive way that was in our front yard but I had no idea Alofa would take action so quick. I should have known. When he puts his mind to something, he gets it done. As you can tell, that part of our yard and lawn has struggled a little. I have tried to take care of it and get it to look good before I got married, but as a single female in grad school, it just wasn't gonna happen. Thank heavens for sweet a husband with determination and motivation as well as GREAT friends like Saia who stick around to help and get things done. Thank you Saia and Alofa! By the end of this summer, I have NO doubt, our yard will be BEAUTIFUL!! Bless Alofa's heart! I love him!
