Sigh of RELIEF!!!

Well, the interview is OVER! What a relief!!! I feel pretty confident but I'm not quite sure what The Big Guy Upstairs has in store for me. They said that we would find out sometime next week via mail. I promise to keep ya posted!

On another note... We are getting ready to move into our new facility which is pretty exciting! We are expanding from 8 residential clients to 12 and possibly 14 in the future so there are big and exciting things in store for us here in the near future! I am sure it will be a great growing and learning experience on so many different levels. I just found out that the office that I have been working on and getting exactly how I want it has to be converted into one of the bedrooms. I was so happy with the blue and brown paint job that I did. I must confess that it looks DANG good, even if I do say so myself! Needless to say I am pretty sad. I lost my dream office. It's all good because I get a new office that is blue and I still like it but it's not MY office yet! Don't worry though, this is a great opportunity to take my lemons and turn them into a Delicious thirst quenching lemon aide! It will be MY new dream office before too long!

The BIG Day has come...

These past few months I have been contemplating applying the counseling program at ISU as an attempt to earn my master's in counseling... considering that I am a substance abuse counselor for adolescents and have noticed the increase need of mental health counseling for some the clients that have the opportunity to work with I thought that it would better prepare me to provide the services that they need. Well I sent in my application and have been invited back for an interview TOMORROW at 8:30 A.M.!!! I am so excited and at the same time so dang nervous! I guess we will see what happens!!! I found out that there are 31 people interviewing and it is my understanding that they accept around 23 applicants at the very most, so... that makes my chances of getting in around 74%!!! I promise to keep ya posted!!! AHHHHH!!! ;~)

The BEST is yet to come...

As I have had an opportunity this past week to reflect on the life and service of our beloved prophet, seer and revelator Gordon B. Hinckley as well as see his funeral I've been overcome with feelings of gratitude and love for him and all the good that he has brought to pass. By their fruits ye shall know them... The fruits of President Hinckley have been many! I am so grateful that our Father in Heaven has seen fit to bless us for so long with the love and service of such a GREAT man! I rejoice at the thought of President Hinckley and his wife being reunited... FOREVER!!! The BEST is yet to come! I love you President Hinckley and will always have a very special place in my heart for you, the only prophet I have known and have had the opportunity to follow at this point in my life!!!
